Shereen received her Bachelor of Science in Visual Communications from San Francisco State University. She is currently a member of the design honor society Epsilon Pi Tau.
Shereen's first entry into the world of visual arts was as an oil painter, spending eleven years honing her technique. The skills acquired through this pursuit such as mixture of colors, placement of elements and varied brush techniques have instilled a curiosity in the visual arts.
As a teenager Shereen's notebooks were filled with sketches with different shapes, patterns, and elements. This led to her decision to dip her toes into Graphic Design, which eventually became her passion. After studying abroad in London for a semester in 2004, Shereen took courses in Composition and Collage. The busy streets of London had opened her eyes to what the visual world has to offer. Her travels through Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, have heavily influenced her designs.
William Morris and Orla Kiely are two of her strongest influences, both of whom derive their inspiration from nature--as does Shereen.
